The general conditions of the service providers

All conditions relating to the use of the application remain valid for members of this group, as does our privacy policy.

I - General Information

Service providers include all individuals who offer services to customers independently or otherwise on the platform, either for payment or without, for entities within the business group.

II - Conditions for Creating a Service Provider Profile

Creating a profile is free. In addition to the information that the service provider must fill out before opening a user account, they must create their service provider profile by adding a copy of their national ID card or passport. If they have a vehicle, they must provide legal documentation and a driver's license for couriers in accordance with the country's legislation. There are several types of service providers on the platform. The profile currently available is for couriers. Other profiles will be added, and these general conditions will be updated accordingly.

A courier is a person who owns a motorcycle, car, or truck that is registered on the platform and can accept and perform deliveries individually in a given city or area. Even without a vehicle, a person who can move around can be a courier on the platform and is subject to these general conditions.

III - Performing a Delivery

A delivery begins when the courier expresses interest in a delivery and is accepted by a customer. The courier goes to the specified location to pick up the product and transports it to the location indicated by the customer. The delivery is completed when the courier hands the product to the customer in person and finalizes the task on the application.

IV - Responsibilities of Service Providers/Couriers

Anyone who logs onto the platform to accept and perform deliveries individually in a given city or area is considered a courier. The courier is responsible for anything that happens to the product during transit, unless it is due to risks inherent to the product or negligence by the seller. If the courier fails to properly handle and secure the product by not adopting the best practices for transporting the items entrusted to them, and if these items do not arrive in good condition, the courier will be liable for repair or replacement of the product. The courier must deliver the products entrusted to them in the same condition in which they received them from the store to the customer. The courier must ensure the product's safety and take care not to damage it. When the road from the store to the customer is in poor condition, the courier must drive cautiously, taking into account the nature of the product being transported.

The courier's responsibility does not extend to damages or non-conformities caused by the seller. The courier's responsibility ends when the product is handed over to the customer.

V - Service Providers' Obligations to Customers

The courier is required to deliver the product in their possession in good condition. They are obligated to inform the customer of any impossibility due to force majeure that occurs during the delivery, particularly when the customer specifies a delivery date or deadline. The courier must suggest or agree on another delivery date or deadline with the customer and must adhere to it.

VI - Couriers' Obligations to the Company

All couriers must complete at least one delivery per week to keep their account active. The company does not take any commission from the delivery fees.

VII - Receiving Payments from Customers

Payments can be made by the customer automatically on the platform or in cash. The courier is required to deposit the payment for the item into the store's wallet on the platform within five (05) hours, or their account will be blocked, and they may even face legal action.

VIII - La-a-la's Obligations to Service Providers

La-a-la commits to treating couriers fairly by allowing them access to jobs posted on the platform and ensuring they receive what they are owed.

All service providers will be rated, and their ratings will be visible directly on their profiles for customers to see.

The courier is not an employee of the company and therefore does not have any fixed salary or entitlement to benefits such as health insurance, liability insurance, or coverage for themselves or a third party in the event of an accident.

IX - Complaints

We are open to any complaints. La-a-la is available at contact@la-a-la.com to handle your claims.
